We at the Escape Artist KC would like to send out our sincere wish that everyone stay safe during these trying times. We hope to soon be able to offer some simple and fun relief…
We have been given specific safety guidelines by the CDC prior to the city-wide shut-down that we believe are suitable to keep our patrons and our staff safe. Fortunately for us, we as a business fit easily within those guidelines and therefore our plan is to open as soon as we are allowed by our city government to do so. We are now open.
As for our customers, certain considerations must be made about with whom you feel comfortable joining in an escape room session*. Our position is that if you feel safe with your group, we’re glad to have your business. At the same time, we caution you to be selective and smart. The best option is to come as a family or group that has been quarantined together. Keep in mind that any group member that comes from a separate quarantine possibly brings everyone with whom they’ve had contact with them depending on how cautious they’re being.
*We have suspended multi-group bookings. You will NOT be paired with another group.
For anyone that is considering booking an appointment or has already, please know that we will allow you to move your appointment pretty much indefinitely until you feel safe. (Based on our established policies.) If you have a promotional offer, please know that any expiration date from the promotional company does not apply - As far as we’re concerned, if you have ticket to ride and follow the policies you agreed to when you bought it, it’s still valid for us and we will honor it.
